3Ds Max - HSDS


HSDS

The HSDS modifier implements hierarchical subdivision surface. it is intended primarily as a finishing tool rather than as a modeling tool. For best results, perform most of your modeling using low-polygon methods, and then use HSDS to add detail and adaptively refine the model.

Step1: First of all, create a cylinder then click on modify tab and select hsds tool.

Step2: click on the edge option of hsds parametric.

Step3: click on subdivide button

Step4: click on move tool then again click on Z-axis and drag Z-axis.

Step5: After that, click on scale tool then click on scale icon and drag down side.
