Array Command in AutoCAD
The array command in AutoCAD is used to create multiple copies of selected objects in a specific pattern. The objects can be arranged in rectangular, polar, or path arrays based on the selected option.
To use the array command:
- Type ARRAY in the command line.
- Select the object(s) you want to array.
- Choose the array type:
- Rectangular for a grid pattern with rows and columns.
- Polar for a circular pattern around a center point.
- Path to follow a specified curve or path.
- Specify the parameters for the chosen array type, such as spacing, number of items, or angles.
- Press Enter to create the array.
The array command simplifies repetitive tasks by creating precise and consistent patterns of objects.
