Join Command in AutoCAD

The join command in AutoCAD is used to combine multiple objects, such as lines, polylines, arcs, or splines, into a single continuous object. This command is helpful for simplifying a drawing by merging disconnected geometry into one unified entity.

To use the join command:

  1. Type JOIN in the command line.
  2. Select the objects you want to join.
  3. Press Enter to complete the command.

After the command is completed, the selected objects will be joined together as one object, which can be edited as a single entity.
