Blend Curves Command in AutoCAD
The blend curves command in AutoCAD is used to create a smooth, continuous transition between two curves, such as lines, arcs, or splines. The resulting blended curve maintains tangency or curvature continuity with the selected curves.
To use the blend curves command:
- Type BLEND in the command line.
- Select the first curve.
- Select the second curve.
- Choose the type of continuity for the blend:
- G1 for tangency continuity.
- G2 for curvature continuity.
- The blended curve will be created between the two selected curves.
This command is particularly useful in creating smooth transitions in designs where precision and aesthetics are important.
